One of our most appreciated programs and services is the Info-cancer Hotline, which offers solace and a sympathetic ear to Quebecers anywhere in the province.

In 2018, thanks to a contribution of $20,000 from Pfizer Canada, the service, which is dispensed by nurses with training in oncology, was enhanced by additional expertise in nutrition and psychological support.

After a 25-week pilot project, it was concluded that the new additions were highly appropriate for the recipients of the service and answered real needs.

The greater volume of calls and the effectiveness of the consultations made possible by the added expertise convinced the Foundation to continue with the new Info-cancer Hotline formula.

This year, Pfizer Canada is helping us maintain this valuable service through a generous $25,000 contribution. This means that the psychologist and nutritionist in the Info-Cancer Services will be able to continue dispensing advice to Quebecers dealing with cancer and to their loved ones.

This funding will also allow the Foundation to reach out to even more people affected by cancer, wherever they may be.

The Foundation is fortunate to have the support of such a trusted partner as Pfizer Canada to help it maintain and develop services that provide direct support to thousands of Quebecers every year.
