Relive the experiences described in the inspiring stories told by people close to the foundation.

“The group dynamics were extraordinary. And despite being the youngest walker, I felt welcome and accepted.”

When Pascale made the decision of moving to Quebec City to attend Université Laval, she had to make new friends and find her way around the city. And what better way to do that than by volunteering ?

This is how she discovered the Quebec Cancer Foundation, its one-of-a-kind team and a whole group of warm and caring volunteers.

The moment we spoke to Pascale about Voyage ta Vie, the fundraising trips organized by the Foundation, she was enthralled and immediately registered to participate in the Chemin des Sanctuaires challenge.

The young adventurer was, needless to say, thrilled by her adventure and would repeat it in a heartbeat:

“The group dynamics were extraordinary. And despite being the youngest walker, I felt welcome and accepted. I developed incredible bonds with all of the participants. I also learned how to look at my surroundings in a different way: walking, especially when you take your time, is an excellent way of discovering the places you visit or travel to. And what allowed me to successfully complete the adventure was learning to listen to my inner voice.”

Pascale still volunteers with the Quebec Cancer Foundation today, and notably recommends that everyone participate in the Voyage ta Vie series of adventures.

Calling everyone - young and not-so young alike, sports enthusiasts and homebodies, the timid and the bold - to take part in one of our exciting adventures!
