Montreal, June 1, 2017 – Throughout the month of June, there will be a host of activities offered to the public all across Quebec. Whether as an organizer, a donor, or a participant, everyone is invited to “vent against cancer!”

Like thousands of others in the first three editions, Quebecers will be expressing their solidarity en masse for this movement led by the Quebec Cancer Foundation with the support of Co-operators. All profits from these activities will go to the Foundation, which every day provides support to people affected by cancer. Whether you get involved as a couple, a family, with colleagues, your friends, at school or on your own, each initiative to honor or support someone affected by cancer will ultimately assist thousands of Quebecers. The important thing is to get involved!

Because 1 in 2 Quebecers will have to deal with cancer during their lives

In the words of Bruno Pelletier, spokesman for the Quebec Cancer Foundation: "It’s important to mobilize, so that everyone dealing with cancer can look forward to a better quality of life. All over Quebec, the Foundation is there for them, like a second family, offering a sympathetic ear, answers and reassurance. This outpouring of solidarity can bring out a smile in even the most trying moments. Believe me!”

Co-operators Vice President Mr. Patrick Décarie, emphasized once more how proud it makes him to support the Grand Défoulement. "Our organization stands behind everyone affected by cancer. We get involved because, for the sufferers and everyone close to them, every day poses a unique challenge."
