From June 1st to June 30th, let’s all vent against cancer!
Because 1 in 2 Quebecers will have to face it one day

Montreal, March 9, 2017 – The Quebec Cancer Foundation and Co-operators, the official presenter of the Grand défoulement, invites you to join this great outpouring of solidarity by organizing an event, participating or giving. Take part with your spouse, family, colleagues, friends, fellow students or on your own to honour or support someone affected by cancer, knowing that each initiative will be helping thousands of Quebecers.

It’s all about taking action!

You choose the event format based on your tastes and interests: a cycling challenge, a mega yoga session, a golf tournament, a pillow fight or the creation of a collective artwork. The Foundation will be there to help organizers every step of the way. No time? No ideas? No problem! Simply join an existing activity or make a donation. Remember that every action matters and makes a real difference in the day-to-day life of someone with cancer.
“I have had the privilege of watching the Grand défoulement take place year after year. What I always witness is a wonderful upsurge of human solidarity. I’ve also observed the positive, direct and tremendous impact of the event. So join in! The greater our numbers, the stronger we will be in the face of cancer,” explained Bruno Pelletier, Spokesperson for the Quebec Cancer Foundation.

All funds raised by this 4th edition will help the Foundation provide people with cancer and their loved ones the essential support they need to better cope with the disease on a daily basis. Everywhere across Quebec, the Foundation is present, playing its unique role.
Because 1 in 2 Quebecers will face cancer at some point and because daily life is a challenge for those affected and their loved ones, let’s get involved!
