Journée mondiale contre le cancer

In keeping with its mission of caring on a daily basis for thousands of Quebecers every year, the Quebec Cancer Foundation is launching its provincial campaign, Un ou l’autre.

Inspired by the statistic that one in two Quebecers will be affected by cancer, the campaign aims to raise awareness and enlighten the public on the hardship faced by people whose lives are turned upside down by the diagnosis. In doing so, it also highlights the important and relevant role played by the Foundation, since one in two adds up to quite a few people who need support in their day-to-day lives.

Many Quebec public figures from different spheres of activity have paired up to lend their name graciously to the initiative, and the Foundation is extremely grateful. Among them, Ding and Dong (Claude Meunier et Serge Thériault), Dominic Sillon and Martin Cloutier, Édith Cochrane and André Robitaille, Vincent Lecavalier and Martin St-Louis will be promoting the Un ou l’autre campaign and embodying its key message in real life, so to speak.

For more than 35 years, the Quebec Cancer Foundation has been hard at work helping people touched by cancer. Its services are tailored to the practical needs and concerns of those with the disease and their loved ones. They include lodging, information services, physical wellness programs, psychological support and the Programme à Félix for those 15 to 39 years of age.
