We are thrilled to announce the availability of additional complementary therapies and psychological support services in several regions. These complementary therapies will now be offered in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Saint-Hyacinthe, and Montreal, in partnership with the CISSS Montérégie-Centre, the CISSS Montérégie-Est, the CHUM, the CIUSSS de l’est de Montréal and the CISSS du Nord de l’Ile.
These new partnerships are allowing us to ensure that massage therapy services — during chemotherapy treatments —, art therapy, and kinesiology are more accessible to the thousands of Quebecers currently battling cancer.
These recent collaborative efforts in the Montreal and Montérégie regions have enhanced the services we offer to the 60,000 Quebecers affected by cancer. By improving accessibility to concrete and adapted services throughout the province, we are supporting the well-being of all those who must face cancer,” stated Marco Décelles, General Manager of the Quebec Cancer Foundation.
These services are offered in addition to the vast array of complementary therapies and psychological support offered online and in person through our six Regional Centers, and by our various partners throughout Quebec.
