Last night the Montreal’s Hotel Windsor saw the unveiling of the impressive sum of $1,100,317 raised for the benefit of the Quebec Cancer Foundation.
The Quebec business community demonstrated its great generosity towards people affected by cancer and their loved ones by conducting an amazing province-wide corporate campaign to mark the Foundation’s 40th anniversary.
The corporate community redoubled its efforts and creativity in raising this 7-digit amount, through involvement in their communities, dinners, fundraising activities, etc.

As every year, the event brought together the business community in each region through a series of highly festive evening events.
2019 will mark another record year for Cancerto: nearly $560,000 was raised for the Foundation, before an audience of more than 1,700 province-wide.
The event in Montreal—a show by Bruno Pelletier and the group SHINE—broke records for donations and participation, with $292,445 collected, thanks in no small measure to the commitment of our valued partners: PEAK, the Host of the event, the special participation of Kevric, and the collaboration of Le Groupe Maurice and CN.
In Quebec City, Gatineau, Sherbrooke and Trois-Rivières, the corporate campaign and Cancerto were also a great success, with themes as varied as they were creative: in Estrie, it was the "superheroes" who were showcased, while in Mauricie, internationally acclaimed Martin Fontaine delighted Cancerto audience with his legendary tribute to Elvis. In Outaouais and Quebec City respectively, the evening theme blue, the Foundation's colour, and the movie music show once again proved to be winning formulas.
Responding to the immense success of these campaigns, Marco Décelles, the Foundation’s Director General, paid tribute to "the invaluable contribution of our honorary committees and partners who have done so much to ensure the success of our campaigns across the province in honour of the Foundation's 40th anniversary."
These people consider it an honour to combine pleasure and philanthropy in support of the Quebec Cancer Foundation, which year after year, benefits thousands of people affected by cancer. This provincial corporate campaign is very important to the well-being of all Quebecers affected by the disease and their loved ones.
Let us not forget that over the next year, nearly 55,600 Quebecers will be diagnosed with cancer.
The Quebec Cancer Foundation thanks all those who have contributed to the success of this corporate campaign and now wishes to invite you to its 2020 edition.
