More than 400 people gathered aboard the AML Louis Jolliet on September 14 for the Rendez-vous Gentleman event, organized in aid of the Quebec Cancer Foundation. The unique fundraising event raised $80,000 in support of women and men with cancer and their families.
 
During this innovative event designed exclusively for them, the mostly male guests cruised up the river under a blazing sun that transitioned into a warm summer evening. All the participants described Rendez-vous Gentleman 2017 as an extraordinary evening. The event was co-presided by Mr. Yan Hamel, CEO of AML Cruises and Denis Ruel, portfolio manager at RBC Dominion Securities.
 
From bow to stern, the participants were able to experience three completely different atmospheres. A highlight of the evening was the draw for a motorcycle or ATV (winner's choice) offered by SM Sport and Suzuki Canada. This was preceded by the unveiling of the amount raised: a check for $80,000. Many other prizes were awarded throughout the evening, to the delight of all present!
