Over 386,000 Quebecers are currently suffering from the devastating effects of smoking. For some of them, the result of their habit is cancer. No less than 16 types of cancer and 21 chronic diseases can be traced directly to tobacco use.

A new kinesiology-art therapy group workshop in February

Info-cancer Holiday Schedule

Cancerto 2017: over $350,000 raised across Quebec

Autumn was an action-packed season for the Quebec Cancer Foundation. In Gatineau, Quebec City, Montreal, Trois-Rivières and Sherbrooke, the Cancerto series raised $350,270 while bringing hope and comfort to so many affected by cancer.

Cancerto with Bruno Pelletier: over $109,500 raised

On December 5, over 200 people gathered at Hyatt Regency Montreal’s Grand Salon Opera for Cancerto, a musical evening highlighting the theme “A unique experience of emotion and celebration.” The event, which featured a cocktail reception, a silent auction, and a Christmas show starring the Foundation’s spokesperson, Bruno Pelletier, raised more than $109,500.

The Federal Minister of Families, Children and Social Development Visits the Quebec Regional Centre!

On Friday, November 17, Minister Jean-Yves Duclos visited the Quebec Cancer Foundation’s Quebec Regional Centre and Info-cancer Services. His visit follows the announcement of new benefits that will permit caregivers to take a leave of up to 15 weeks to care for a seriously ill adult family member.
