Since the start of the year, Foundation massage therapist Dominique Beauchemin has been offering two hours a week of massage sessions to people undergoing chemotherapy at the Trois-Rivières hospital hematology/oncology outpatient clinic. This type of massage involves applying pressure to the hands, feet, legs, neck and shoulders of a person seated in a special massage chair. The Quebec Cancer Foundation provides the service, free of charge, in partnership with the hematology/oncology outpatient clinic.
