In Montreal, Quebec, Trois-Rivières, Rouyn-Noranda, Gatineau and Granby, large numbers of Quebecers walked in support of those affected by cancer: over 1000 participants in all.

Their generosity was boundless. We raised the impressive sum of nearly $200,000 on behalf of the Quebec Cancer Foundation!

The program for these six beautiful days was filled with games, music, speeches, massages, murals, free food.... And of course, six walks animated with hope, joy, and life.

The Granby and Gatineau walks that rounded off this first edition showered participants with a visual feast of autumn colours whose memory they will cherish for years to come.

And our beneficiaries will never forget, either!

"Every time I see a donation come in, I’m touched, because I once benefitted from these gifts and now is the time to give back. For someone whose has received a cancer diagnosis, it’s like receiving a great wave of love. That's what touched me the most" testifies Rachelle Roy, a participant in the marche du Grand défoulement in Rouyn-Noranda.

We shared wonderful moments celebrating life in the company of our partners, donors and recipients!

Stay tuned for the 2nd edition of the marche du Grand défoulement in your region. Come and contribute to its success in 2019!
