As soon as you learn the official date of your first treatment or examination, call us at 418-657-5334 or toll-free at 1-800-363-0063 to reserve your room. If possible, have a pencil and paper ready to take notes.
Here is what we suggest:

  • A clock radio
  • A pillow to help you feel at home (the ones we offer are lightly laminated)
  • Liquid laundry soap (only if you use our washing machine)
  • An umbrella
Staying at the Quebec Lodge also means being able to enjoy the wonderful  attractions of this lovely city. There are several businesses located near the centre, including grocery stores, pharmacies and restaurants. Don’t hesitate to ask our receptionist for more information!
A financial allowance for meals is included in the cost of an overnight stay for cancer patients and their companions. When you arrive, you will receive meal vouchers that are valid in the hospital cafeteria. The value of these coupons covers the cost of most meals. However, you may be charged a fee, depending on the menu you choose,.

Supper: 4:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. (cafeteria)

Prepare your own meals

Tired of eating out? Missing your spaghetti sauce? Don't worry, our communal kitchen allows you to prepare your own meals as if you were at home. There are cupboards and refrigerators available for storing your food.

Upon arrival

We will be pleased to welcome you after 2:00 pm. Our receptionist will show you around and make sure you are comfortable.
 

Upon departure

You will have to vacate your room and make your final payment by 11:00 a.m.
The Quebec Lodge offers a range of activities for relaxation or socializing with other residents. These include our three complementary therapies that are offered by professionals specially trained to treat people with cancer.
Several parking spaces are reserved for the Lodge residents. If available, upon arrival and after payment, you will be provided with a parking sticker.

Rooms

The Quebec Lodge has 48 rooms in either double or single occupancy (depending on availability); each one has:
  • Two single beds with semi-plastic pillows and bedding
  • A private toilet with sink, towels and toilet paper
  • A chest of drawers
  • Reading chairs
  • Air conditioning
  • Free Internet access

Our common rooms are designed to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Everything is designed to make you feel at home! You will find :

The Hôtellerie de Québec allows you to stay close to your treatment site at a very affordable cost. The rate for one night varies according to your status.

Single occupancy, subject to availability. For a close friend or family member visiting a person hospitalized for cancer or for a person being treated for medical reasons other than cancer.

Please note that we do not accept payments assumed by insurance companies, organizations or others. You must pay for your stay in person before your departure, either by credit card (Visa or MasterCard), by check or in cash.
