Nearly $335,000 raised for the Quebec Cancer Foundation
Montreal, November 16, 2016 – This fall, the Quebec Cancer Foundation presented its Cancerto series of fundraising evenings in Sherbrooke, Trois-Rivières, Gatineau, Quebec City and Montreal. The events attracted close to 2,000 guests, raising nearly $335,000 in support of people with cancer and their loved ones across Quebec.

Pilgrims raise $40,000 in support of people with cancer 
Montreal, October 3rd, 2016 – From September 10 to September 23, 2016, a group of fifteen Quebecers took on the challenge of Compostelle en tandem in behalf of the Quebec Cancer Foundation. They walked a distance of 100 to 200 km along the legendary Compostelle route to pay tribute to the courage of someone with cancer, celebrate their own victory over the disease or honour the memory of a loved one. Their solidarity and perseverance raised more than $40,000, which will used to provide practical support to thousands of people living with cancer every year.

A guy’s night out in behalf of the Quebec Cancer Foundation
Quebec City, September 16, 2016 – On September 15, 2016, over 450 guests gathered aboard the AML Louis-Joliet for the Rendez-vous Gentleman, a unique cruise in behalf of the Quebec Cancer Foundation. The innovative, gentlemen-only fundraising dinner generated $71,000 in support of the men and women affected by cancer and their loved ones.

Montréal, le 5 août 2016 – Depuis le 2 juillet dernier, l’équipe de course Dumoulin Compétition, composée des frères Jean-François et Louis-Philippe Dumoulin, se mobilise pour la cause en participant au Grand défoulement au profit de la Fondation québécoise du cancer. Jusqu’à ce jour, ce sont 2 010 $ qui ont été amassés sur les divers circuits de la série canadienne de NASCAR. Du 12 au 14 août 2016, les deux pilotes automobiles prendront part au Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières et souhaitent que les Québécois fassent preuve de solidarité envers les personnes touchées par le cancer et leurs proches. Ils invitent donc les amateurs à être généreux et à démontrer leur appui à tous ceux qui traversent une dure épreuve.

Close to $200,000 raised during the Grand défoulement contre le cancer
Montreal, July 4, 2016 – During the entire month of June, we witnessed a groundswell of solidarity across the province during the Grand défoulement contre le cancer benefiting the Quebec Cancer Foundation. The 3rd edition of the fundraising initiative to “vent against cancer,” held in partnership with Co-operators, ended on an extremely positive note after raising nearly $200,000 in support of the thousands of Quebecers affected by cancer each year.

The Quebec Cancer Foundation’s Grand défoulement contre le cancer
Montreal, March 1, 2016 – The Quebec Cancer Foundation invites the general public to pull together and join the third edition of the Grand défoulement contre le cancer, which will be held from June 1 to June 30, 2016. Presented by The Co-operators, this one-of-a-kind initiative encourages Quebecers to organize an activity to “vent against cancer” while raising donations for the cause. The campaign will help the Foundation pursue its mission of supporting people with cancer in their day-to-day lives.
